Conducting Field Inspections: Kachin State Chief Minister conducts field inspections

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khat Htein Nan, who is in Putao to increase agricultural and production activities for the development and food security of the Putao region, conducted field inspections on the evening of December 17 at small-scale industrial and handicraft production businesses in Putao Township. These businesses are being implemented with the National Economic Promotion Fund and include the Super One Bamboo Chopsticks production business, Shwe Taung noodle production business, and agricultural businesses funded with capital investments.

During the field inspections, the State Chief Minister, along with responsible officials, visited the Super One advanced Chopsticks production factory. This factory is owned by the U Nyan Lin Handicraft Cooperative Society and located in Pan Hlaing Ward, Putao Township. He toured the factory, inspected it, offered words of encouragement, and coordinated with relevant departmental officials to provide necessary assistance and support.

Subsequently, he toured and inspected the conditions of various vegetable crops grown within the home compound of U Shwe Bon in the same ward. Regarding agricultural activities, he coordinated and collaborated with relevant departmental officials to ensure the availability of quality seeds and sufficient agricultural water and inputs.

Furthermore, the State Chief Minister and officials visited the Shwe Taung noodle production business owned by U Tin Shwe in the same ward. They toured and inspected the operational status of the instant noodle production process, inquired and discussed the conditions for distributing and selling products in the local market as well as the needs, and coordinated with relevant departmental officials to fulfill and implement the necessary support, it’s reported.
