Receiving Brunei Ambassador: MOFA UM received Brunei Ambassador

Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Myanmar Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin bin Matserudin, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 16 December 2025.

During the courtesy call, the Union Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Myanmar. They discussed matters relating to further strengthening cooperation between the two Foreign Ministries, enhancing relations between Myanmar and Brunei, and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation in various sectors, particularly, agriculture, trade, investment and labour.
