





While in Sittwe City, Rakhine State, the Union Minister for Science and Technology, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, together with the Rakhine State Minister for Social Affairs U Thet Tun and responsible officials, visited the Computer University (Sittwe) on the afternoon of December 15.
First, the Union Minister met with students from Technological University (Sittwe), University of Computer Studies (Sittwe), and the Government Technical High School (Sittwe). He provided guidance to ensure that students do not lose their learning opportunities and that teaching and learning processes proceed smoothly. He met warmly with the students and delivered words of encouragement.
Subsequently, at the University of Computer Studies (Sittwe), the Union Minister met with Pro-rectors, the principal, heads of departments, teachers, and administrative staff from Technological University (Sittwe), University of Computer Studies (Sittwe), and the Government Technical High School (Sittwe). During the meeting, the Pro-rectors and the principal reported on academic matters, administrative affairs, and financial issues. The Union Minister provided guidance and made arrangements to address necessary requirements, including matters that would be beneficial to the state, in order to ensure smooth teaching and learning for students. He also warmly met with and encouraged students who were engaged in both theoretical and practical learning activities in classrooms and computer laboratories.
Afterwards, the Union Minister presented food supplies, medicines, and cash awards to the pro-rectors, principals, and responsible officials of Technological University (Sittwe), University of Computer Studies (Sittwe), and the Government Technical High School (Sittwe), it’s reported.
