










Jointly organized by the Ministry of Information and government members from Region/State and Nay Pyi Taw Council, 2025 Multiparty Democracy Election Public Awareness Campaigns have been carried out across the nation.
On Saturday, the campaign took place at the Civil Services Academy (Lower Myanmar) in Hlegu Township of Yangon Region. The event commenced with screening of documentary video clips on ‘Building a better future after overcoming the powerful earthquake’ and ‘Moving Forward to the Goal’.
Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn explained that every citizens of aged 18 and above have responsibilities to vote representatives who can carry out development of the regions. He stressed that the act of vote is the every citizens’ birth rights, and the election is not just the party politics, it's the matter of the nation.
He said such events have been organized to promote awareness of the public to cast vote, understanding the importance of election and citizens’ responsibility to vote their favourite party. During the event, MRTV DTH Satellites and DVB-T2 Set Top Boxes were presented to the attendees through lucky draw program.
The attendees also enjoyed the performances of artists’ songs and dances with the accompaniment of Myanma Radio and Television Modern Music Troupe. Likewise, responsible personnel from the Ministry of Information handed out ‘Let’s Vote Together’ Election awareness pamphlets to trainees, staffs and their families.
