Promoting Friendship : Mon State Chief Minister receives Chinese Ambassador

Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein received Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia at Mon State Government Office in Mawlamyine on December 12.

During the meeting, they discussed matters regarding the Myanmar–China friendship affairs, noting many overseas Chinese reside and live comfortably under the care and support of the state government. The discussion also focused on investment opportunities in agriculture, especially rubber cultivation and production of raw materials, finished goods, and various local products.

They also talked about the tourism industry, inviting to visit Chaungzon Township, also known as Bilukyun, famous for its lush and green environ.
