First Gold Medal: Myanmar Chinlone Teams secure two gold medals

At the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand, both Myanmar Men and Women Chinlone teams won gold medals at the final matches, held on Wednesday.

Myanmar women team won with a total point of  502 - 446 against Thailand, securing the very first gold medal for the country. Likewise, Men Chin Lone team won against Thailand with the score of 574 - 501.

It is learned that present at the competitions were Myanmar Olympic Committee Chairman, Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Peng, Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, Yangon Region Social Affairs Minister U Htay Aung, Myanmar Sports team leader and administrative members, Myanmar Sepak Takraw Federation Chairperson and responsible personnel. Myanmar Sports team has secured two gold and three silver medals in the 33rd SEA Games as of Wednesday evening.
