Providing Construction Materials: Sagaing Region CM attended the event

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and officials observed the distribution of nails, galvanized iron sheets, cement, and financial aid provided by the National Natural Disaster Management Committee, to the residents of wards and villages in Sagaing Township, whose houses were damaged by the earthquake. They warmly greeted the earthquake-affected people at the Sagaing District Agricultural Bank compound in the morning on December 7.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the main entrance gateway to Sagaing Region, which was damaged by the earthquake. They also inspected the combines Inspection Team gates for combating illegal trade at the Ayeyawady Bridge (Yadanabon) entrance to Sagaing city. Regarding security matters, they coordinated with responsible personnel to ensure necessary actions were taken. They instructed officials to prevent the illegal collection of money and the entry of illegal goods.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials went to observe the transport operations using pontoons from Sagaing city's Thitseik riverbank to Mandalay's Shwe Kyet Kya riverbank, aimed at facilitating the smooth passage of goods trucks and trailer trucks over 20 tons. They met with Combined Inspection Teams for combating illegal trade and gave necessary instructions.

Continuing, the Chief Minister and officials attended a meeting held at the meeting hall of the Sagaing District General Administration Department. The meeting was with the Joint Inspection Teams for combating illegal trade operating at the Ayeyawady Bridge (Yadanabon) in Sagaing city and the Kantalu ကံတလူ checkpoint. They gave necessary instructions and, based on the discussions and presentations from the attendees, coordinated and facilitated actions with the responsible officials.

Following this, the Chief Minister and officials attended a meeting held at the Atinkhayar Guest Hall in Sagaing. The meeting was with ward administrators from Sagaing to ensure the successful conduct of the 2025 Multi-Party Democracy General Election and to maintain regional stability and peace. They provided necessary guidance and instructions.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and officials attended a ceremony of distributing urea fertilizers, seeds, and handheld seeders to achieve the target yield for the 2025-2026 oil crops (groundnut, sesame, sunflower) and summer paddy, held at the City Hall in Sagaing. They coordinated and facilitated necessary actions with the responsible officials.
