Ensuring Smooth Administration : Rules and regulations for examiners of 2026 Matric Exams

The Ministry of Education is conducting the training courses on rules and regulations for supervisors, co-supervisors, assistant supervisors and examiners of the 2026 Matriculation Examination to ensure smooth administration.

On Friday, Union Minister Dr Chaw Chaw Sein met with the trainees at Yangon University of Education. During the meeting, she emphasized that Grade-12 examination supervision goes beyond monitoring exam rooms to include the entire process, from handling question papers to exam conduct.

She urged all region, district, and township education officers to cooperate, follow the training instructions carefully and ensure smooth and effective supervision. Highlighting the governments’ commitment to developing the education sector, she encouraged full participation in the training courses.

The Union Minister later visited Yangon University and Hlaing Campus to inspect campus cleanliness and beautification. During the inspection, she instructed staff to manage waste properly, designate cleaning zones and maintain lighting to enhance the greenery and appearance of the campus.

The Union Minister later inspected staff housing at the Mindhamma Pyinnya Yeiktha Housing Complex and the three-story hall at the Hlaing Campus Staff Housing Complex. In the evening, the Union Minister and officials met with the Rector, Pro-Rector, and departmental heads at the Yangon Distance Education University Conference Hall to discuss improving the quality and management of distance education.
