Inspections in Loikaw: Chief Minister inspects Sports facilities

Kayah State Chief Minister U Ang Maw inspected the construction of a sports stadium, an indoor gymnasium, and a youth center in Loikaw on Thursday.

First, the Chief Minister and officials visited the Loikaw Education Degree College to inspect the construction of an indoor gymnasium and the upgrading of the football ground, funded by the Union budget for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. Responsible officials presented progress updates on the works.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed officials to ensure construction meets the required quality standards, complete the project on time, and properly manage financial drawdowns. Afterwards, the Chief Minister and party inspected the construction of a three-story reinforced concrete (RC) Youth Center building, funded by the state budget for the 2026–2027 fiscal year.

After hearing briefings from officials on-site, the Chief Minister directed them to emphasize construction quality, arrange for necessary furniture and equipment, and complete the project within the scheduled timeframe.
