



Naypyitaw State Academy celebrated its 3rd anniversary on Sunday with a research paper reading session. Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein attended the event, and made a speech.
She highlighted that Naypyitaw State Academy was established on November 9, 2022, to become a leading higher education institution producing skilled and innovative graduates. She noted the academy’s rapid development, expanding from four faculties at its founding to seven major faculties and 24 specializations in the 2025–2026 academic year, including new programs in Nuclear Physics, Industrial Chemistry, Library and Information Science, and Diplomacy.
The Union Minister emphasized the importance of research-based learning, student-centered education, and internships with government departments and private organizations to link theory with practice. She urged teachers and staff to continue nurturing creative, capable, and ethical professionals while upholding the academy’s reputation.
The celebration also featured the research exhibitions and presentations of 20 research papers. After the ceremony, the Union Minister and officials inspected the construction progress of the academy’s Convocation Hall.
