Commemorative Event: General Administration Department marks 37th Anniversary

The General Administration Department celebrated its 37th Anniversary in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung attended the event, and made a speech, praising the GAD for its vital role throughout Myanmar’s administrative history and for supporting governance, peace, regional development, and public service. He highlighted the active involvement of staff in disaster relief operations during the recent strong Mandalay earthquake and urged them to continue contributing effectively to fair and transparent elections.

During the ceremony, uniforms and essential goods were provided to staff, and awards were presented to outstanding employees, trainees, and children of GAD staff who achieved top exam results.
