Preparation for Election: MEVM voting demonstration in Magway

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, together with regional ministers and officials, visited Pathanagoh Village-Tract in Magway Township on October 6 to observe a public awareness session and demonstration of the Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine (MEVM).

The demonstration explained the purpose, structure, and operation of the MEVM, including casting ballots and counting process during elections. Voters practiced casting test votes and observed printed voting slips from the MEVM printers to ensure accuracy. The Chief Minister encouraged officials to ensure a smooth and transparent voting process in future elections and urged local residents for their active participation in the process.
