









Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, accompanied by Deputy Minister U Nay Myo Hlaing and concerned officials, visited No.1 Basic Education High School in Kyaukme Township on November 6th.
The Union Minister met with teachers, students and parents to made encouragement and fulfill their necessaties. During the meeting, the Union Minister stated that the country is priortizing to promote education sector, with the implementation of KG+12 system, assisting text books, exercises books and school uniforms to all school-aged-children.
She also called for tripartite cooperation of parents, teachers and students till completion of their education while nurturing the students’ physical and mental strength. The Union Minister added that cooperation is needed for drug-free schools, preventing irrelevent manners in the school environ.
She outlined the organizing of educative talks on narcotic drugs and chemical substances in cooperation with the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Deputy Minister also expressed words of thanks for public cooperation for reopening of schools.
The Union Minister and officials later coordinated the requirement upon reports by the teachers and parents. Durign the meeting, cash reward, school uniforms, text books, exercises books, stationary and bagpacks were presented to the students.
The Union Minister and party later proceeded to No.1 Basic Education High School in Naungcho Township and provided the needs of teachers, students and parents, providing cash assistance and provisions. At the Basic Education High School (Branch) (Ohhmathee), the Union Minister inspected the renovation works and coordinated the requirement.
