Inspection of Bridge Construction: Bala Min Htin Bridge No. (2) construction inspected

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan, along with State Ministers and State-level department officials, conducted a field inspection of the pile driving work at Pier No. (5) of the Bala Min Htin Bridge No. (2) in Myitkyina. They also held a coordination meeting on November 5th regarding preparations for the 2025 Traditional New Harvesting Festival and Multi-ethnic Cultural Exchange, to be hosted by the State Government.

First, at 8 AM, the State Chief Minister, along with State Government Ministers and State-level department officials, visited the construction site of the Bala Min Htin Bridge No. (2) on the Mandalay-Lashio-Bhamo-Myitkyina road, which is being built by the Bridge Department, Special Bridge Team (1). After listening to the responsible officials' presentation in a briefing hall, supplemented by explanations from the State Minister for Transport, the Chief Minister coordinated and integrated the necessary requirements.

Afterwards, they proceeded by speedboat to the Pier No. (5) Construction site. They toured the site, observing and inspecting the ongoing pile driving operations, with responsible officials providing on-site explanations about the work progress. Necessary coordination and support were provided.

Subsequently, at the Malikha Hall of the State Government Office, the State Chief Minister attended and delivered remarks at a coordination meeting for the 2025 Traditional New Harvesting Festival and the Multi-ethnic Traditional Cultural Exchange, involving indigenous ethnic groups, scheduled to be held within this month. The meeting was attended by the State Chief Justice, State Government members, and State-level department officials.

Similarly, in the afternoon at the same meeting hall, the State Chief Minister met with departments and organizations included in the State budget. A work coordination and discussion meeting was held regarding the implementation status of project work plans being carried out with the State Government's budget (capital expenditure) for the 2025-2026 fiscal year during the first six-month period (from April to the end of September).
