Inspection of Schools and Universities: MOE UM inspected BEHS schools and universities

Union Minister for Education, Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, accompanied by officials, visited Basic Education High School No.3 and Basic Education High School No.1 in Kyaukse Township in the morning on November 5 and met with Grade-12 teachers and students' parents.During the meeting, the Union Minister stated that the State is prioritizing and supporting the education sector and is also providing teaching and learning aid materials.

She discussed the role of teachers' and parents' involvement in successfully realizing the policies of the Ministry of Education, the responsibility of teachers regarding the teaching aspects for improving the Grade-12 pass rate, and the need for parents to provide guidance and supervision for their children outside of school hours.

Subsequently, the Deputy Minister discussed providing support and fulfilling needs to achieve a higher pass rate of Grade-12.Afterwards, teachers and parents asked questions regarding matters they wished to know about, and the Union Minister and responsible officials coordinated and addressed them.

Later, the Union Minister proceeded to Kyaukse University, where she met with the Rector, Pro-Rectors, and Heads of Departments. She toured the University and met with officials responsible for the ongoing construction of a Recreation Center, instructing them to complete the construction within the specified timeframe.

Furthermore, the Union Minister visited Mandalar University in Mandalay. In the university's meeting hall, she met with the Rector, Pro-Rectors, Heads of Departments, and lecturers, providing guidance and instructions on necessary requirements. 

Subsequently, she inspected the Convocation Hall, which had sustained damage from the Mandalay earthquake, and gave instructions regarding the needs arising from the reports submitted by the responsible officials.In the afternoon, the Union Minister visited Mandalay Education Degree College, where she held a cordial meeting with the Principal and lecturers, providing guidance and instructions on necessary requirements.
