Ceremony of Offering Alms-food : Rakhine State CM attended the ceremony

On the full moon day of Tazaungmon, organized by the Rakhine State Government, a grand alms-food offering ceremony to the 500 members of Sangha and the Buddhist nuns, was held in the morning of November 4 at the Atulamarazein Pyi Lone Chan Thar  Pagoda in Sittwe.

The Chief Minister of Rakhine State, U Htein Lin, and his wife, the Commander of West-Command Major General Kyaw Swar Oo, members of the state government and their wives, officials, philanthropists, and local residents attended and made offerings.

First, Chief Minister U Htein Lin and his wife paid homage at the Atulamarazein Pyi Lone Chan Thar  Pagoda in Sittwe, offering flowers, oil lamps, and water.

Following that, the Chief Minister and his wife, the Commander and members of the state government led the ceremony, presenting grand offerings to the members of Sangha and the Buddhist nuns.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister and the group observed and supported the traditional Rakhine carnival puppet show entertainment of receiving donation.
