Regional Development : Coordination meeting held in Magway Region

Aiming to implement State’s economy, Social and regional development in Magway Region successfully, a work coordination meeting between Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and departmental officials was held at the City Hall of Magway on 31st October.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the need to cultivate winter paddy to meet the targeted yield, and urged relevant departments and district administrative teams to carry out awareness campaigns on summer sasame cultivation method.

He added that the regional government has been providing loan disbursement to farmers, with cent percent disbursement of the 10 billion kyat capital fund. The Chief Minister also called for collective participation of all concerned persons for thriving of tree plantations in the region.

He also discussed the implementation  of Industrial Zone project in Magway, MSME development efforts, and boosting the yield of agricultural produces. He called for collaboration of all departments concerned to participate in successful holding of upcoming multi party general election. Then, the Regional ministers and officials made sector wise discussions in which the Chief Minister coordinated the needs.
