Myanma Railways has launched a special sightseeing train for travelers during the Taunggyi Tazaungdaing Festival. The train runs on the Taunggyi–Pawmu–Taunggyi route from November 1 to 4.

The train departs Taunggyi Station at 9:00 AM, stops for 15 minutes at Htee Thein Station, and reaches Pawmu at 10:30 AM. After a 30-minute stop, it returns to Taunggyi, arriving at 12:30 PM. The total distance is 11.41 miles, and the trip takes about 1 hour 30 minutes each way.

Tickets cost 10,000 kyats for upper class and 5,000 kyats for ordinary class. The train can carry 108 passengers in total. Myanma Railways plans to continue the service on weekends and public holidays, and group or private bookings for tour companies and schools, are also available.
