Daytime Hot-Air Balloon Competition : Taunggyi Tazaungdaing Festival continued

The daytime hot-air balloon competition of the Taunggyi Tazaungdaing Festival continued on Friday at the Awaiyar Konethaya balloon field.

Teams from Taunggyi, nearby towns, and private companies participated with lively music, dancing, and traditional performances. Competitions included two-legged, four-legged, and group balloon categories, with a total of 34 individual and 9 group entries launched on Friday.

Large crowds of festival visitors and balloon enthusiasts attended the event, creating a festive atmosphere. Meanwhile, local schools also held Kathina robe donation ceremonies, where students in traditional dress joyfully paraded with drums and dances around the city.
