Stake Driving Ceremony: New building for Kachin State Hluttaw

A Stake Driving ceremony of the new Kachin State Hluttaw Building was held at Man Kein ward in Myitkyina Township on October 30th.

The ceremony was attended by Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay along with Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and many other concerned officials. During the ceremony the Chief Minister and attended officials sprinkled scented water at the designated place where the new building will be constructed.

Then, the Union Chief Justice viewed around the compound of new Hluttaw building. The new Hluttaw Building is being implemented under 2025 3rd Phase work plan of the Judicial Strategic Plan for five years (2023-2027). The building is a 4-storey concrete one with the measurement of 206x135 ft and G3 Group Limited will take responsibilities till completion of the building.
