At the invitation of Mr. Wan Hongjian , Head of the National Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China, the Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun, who is in the PRC to attend the International Forum on Energy Transition 2025 held in Suzhou, China, and to study wind power generation operations, visited Nanjing  and Suzhou  cities in China from October 22 to 23, 2025.

During the visit, the Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister U Nyan Tun went to tour and study the Jiangsu  Provincial Power Generation and Power System Stability Control Center of the China Huaneng Group in Nanjing on October 22. Responsible officials provided explanations.

Subsequently, the Myanmar delegation visited the biomass pellet factory operated by Jingyu Deep-green Energy Co., Ltd. Responsible officials explained the factory's operational activities. Arranged by the Forum Organizing Committee, the Union Minister and delegation visited the Xiangcheng EDZ Energy Center in Suzhou City on October 23.

At this Energy Center, they studied the implementation of national policies through initiatives such as electric power management, the construction of Dual Thermal Storage and Multi-energy Complementarity in buildings, and the application of AI-Enabled Smart Energy Technology, Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction, and AI-based Control Systems.

Later, the Myanmar delegation attended the "Large Power Grid Security Risk Prevention and Control Technical" sub-forum of the International Forum on Energy Transition 2025, jointly organized by the National Energy Administration of China and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), at 2 PM local time on October 23.

Mr. Huang Xuenong from the National Energy Administration of China and Mr. Wu Shaoqian from the China Southern Power Grid attended the sub-forum and delivered welcoming addresses. Union Minister U Nyan Tun also delivered a welcoming address.

The "Large Power Grid Security Risk Prevention and Control Technical" sub-forum of the International Forum on Energy Transition 2025 was attended by organizations responsible for power system control and operation, research institutions from universities and colleges, and electric power policy makers, it’s learnt.
