






The Ministry of Health is working to improve the coverage of public healthcare services. In line with this, the Thipaw People's Hospital in Thipaw Township, Kyaukme District, Shan State (North), has been reopened starting from the morning of October 23, and is strengthening the provision of healthcare and treatment services for local ethnic people from Thipaw Township and surrounding villages.
Basic health staff from the Thipaw Township Public Health Department are providing healthcare to local ethnic people from Thipaw Township and surrounding villages. They are carrying out communicable disease prevention and control activities, maternal and child health care services, and school health programs.
To reinvigorate the vaccination program, they are conducting catch-up vaccinations and providing vaccines to children under 15 through Special Immunization Activities. These vaccination efforts are being carried out using various methods to ensure they reach every child.
In this endeavor, on October 23, basic health staff from the Thipaw Township Public Health Department are reinforcing the provision of necessary vaccinations for a total of 350 individuals receiving primary healthcare services and school-aged children under 15 years old.
