INVITATION FUTSAL CUP: YCDC INVITATION FUTSAL CUP 2025 held

The opening ceremony of the YCDC INVITATION FUTSAL CUP 2025, organized by the Yangon City Development Committee, was held at the YCDC Sports Complex Centre in Thingangyun Township on October 22. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein attended to observe and show his support.

First, the competing teams took their positions on the field. Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Region Government members, and responsible officials cordially greeted the managers/coaches and athletes of the competing teams. The competing athletes then exited the field.

Following this, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Region Government members, the audience, and responsible officials watched and cheered for the opening match of the YCDC INVITATION FUTSAL CUP 2025 between YCDC MARGA FC and BURMESE WARRIORS FC.

The YCDC INVITATION FUTSAL CUP 2025 tournament will be held from October 22 to November 7, with a total of 32 participating teams competing in a round-robin group stage.

Afterwards, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Htein and Region Government members inspected the park located near the YCDC Sports Complex Centre in Thingangyun Township, at the corner of Kamakyi Road and Mya Wutt Yi Road, next to Nga Moe Yeik Chaung. They examined the planting of ornamental flowers, the maintenance of greenery for trees and plants, the cleanliness and tidiness efforts, and the status of the pedestrian walkway construction. They also inspected the completed construction status of the courts for traditional chinlone, the sepak takraw, volleyball and the basketball court within the YCDC Sports Complex Centre. Responsible officials explained the status of the work carried out, and the Region Chief Minister provided necessary instructions.
