





Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung met with the staff, on October 21, in the Union National Races Village (Yangon) meeting hall.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that in the upcoming general election to be held on December 28, 2025, staff must ensure their voting rights are not lost and must go to the respective election commission branch offices in their townships to verify that their voter lists are complete.
It is necessary for all good citizens to participate without exception and go to their respective polling stations to vote. He also stated that during the 2025-2026 fiscal year, ongoing projects must be implemented and completed on time in accordance with financial rules, regulations, and established standards.
Subsequently, U Pyae Htein Naing, the person in charge and supervisor of the Union National Races Village (Yangon), presented a PowerPoint explaining the implementation status of activities and the income situation of the National Races Village during the 2025-2026 fiscal year. The Deputy Minister inspected the traditional houses within the Village and the ongoing upgrading projects of the Village, coordinated necessary adjustments, and instructed that staff work together harmoniously to strive for increased income for the Union National Races Village (Yangon).
As of October 19, 2025, the Union National Races Village (Yangon) had collected 89.25% of the originally estimated revenue for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, indicating an increase in income, it’s reported.
