Anti-Corruption Measure: "Raising Integrity, Resisting Corruption"

The Anti-Corruption Commission held a seminar titled "Raising Integrity, Resisting Corruption" on Friday at its office.

It’s attended by Commission Chairman U Lwin Oo and concerned officials. There, the Commission Chairman stated that Myanmar will host the ASEAN Parties Against Corruption (ASEAN-PAC) meeting, and that the seminar was held to improve the personal capacity of the Commission's staff and officers to ensure the successful hosting of the meeting.

He also stressed the need to cultivate a culture of integrity in the public sector, private sector, and society, and to establish and follow good, precise systems to minimize opportunities for corruption. Following this, discussions were held under the titles: "From Rules to Values: The Role of Organizational Ethics," "Combating Corruption with Smart Technology," "Clean Hand, Clean Future (Administration corruption)," "Exploring Solutions to corruption in Public Sectors," "Planting the seeds of integrity in the youngster," and "The Nexus of Electoral Integrity and Corruption."
