Meeting with Relevant Officials: MOC Chairman met with relevant officials in POL

Chairman of the Myanmar Olympic Committee, Union Minister of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, on October 13, met with officers and staff serving at district and township-level offices of the Department of Sports and Physical Education and the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism in Pyin Oo Lwin.

The Union Minister, first, listened to the reports from the responsible officials of the district and township offices and inquired about necessary matters.

Furthermore, the Union Minister stated that in the development of Pyin Oo Lwin region as the national city of tourism, sports, health, coffee, and model city, it is necessary for their staff who are serving there to actively cooperate and participate in the regional development processes.

Afterwards, the Union Minister coordinated and supplemented the reports provided by the officers and staff. Chairman of Myanmar Olympic Committee, Union Minister of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, along with the responsible officials, inspected sports fields and stadiums within Mandalay Region on October 13, to enhance the standards and development of sports in Mandalay Region.

First, the Union Minister and officials visited and inspected the sports field in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay Region, and instructed the responsible personnel to maintain it systematically. Subsequently, the Union Minister met with temporarily relocated staff, retired military personnel, and the public to provide sports equipment and necessary supplies to facilitate their current requirements.
