Work Coordination Meeting : Meeting for the Ground Census Enumeration

The Kayah State Supervisory Committee for Ground Census Enumeration held its work coordination meeting at the State Government Office on Saturday.

Committee Chairman Chief Minister U Zaw Myo TinĀ attended the meeting, along with State Government members, members of the State, District and Township Level Committees, and members of the Loikaw, Demoso and Bawlakhe District and Township Administration Committees.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister urged the committee members to consider their responsibilities as a national duty and called for sectoral cooperation to ensure an accurate voter list while placing special emphasis on security issues. He then heard reports on the completed ground census work, the issuance of citizenship identification cards, the ground verification of the approved population list within the state, the announcement of voter lists and site visits, advance voting, systematic and effective cooperation in voting processes and public awareness activities.

This was followed by the sector-wise activity reports by members of the State, District and Township Level Committees.
