Cultural Performing Arts : Competition continues for 3rd Day in Nay Pyi Taw

The 26th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition (Central Level) continued into its third day across various venues in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday, with enthusiastic participation from states and regions.

Events held included singing competitions, traditional dance contests, song composing competitions musical instrument performances, including xylophone, flute, and orchestra ensembles, with performances based on traditional Myanmar tunes.

The competitions were attended and supported by Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and government staff, as well as students and the public. Running from October 7 to 13, the competition aims to preserve and promote Myanmar’s cultural identity, strengthen national unity through arts, pass down traditional arts to younger generations, and contribute to social and cultural development in the country.
