Visiting the Coastal Region Command : Meeting with Tatmadawmen and families

Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the Coastal Region Command on Friday.

Commander Maj-Gen Kyaw Kyaw Han reported on the regional security measures, formation of People's Security Teams, preparations of election and welfare activities for the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families. The Senior General instructed for effective implementation of regional stability, security measures along the coaster areas and state-owned water territory.

The Senior General later met with the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families of Myeik Station. He emphasized to make constant training for ensuring physically fit and capacity building. He also reiterated the implementation of building the Tatmadaw through four work processes of providing training, better administration, welfare activities, and morale development.

He urged all to strive for betterment of the state and Tatmadaw while working for development of defence capabilities of the nation. During the meeting, foodstuff and cash rewards were provided for the military officers, Tatmadawmen and families as well as for the maternal and child welfare association.

The Senior General later visited the local defence services hospital and comforted the patients. He also asked after the needs of the hospital and fulfilled the necessities. Likewise, wife of the Senior General also visited the family members of the Tatmadawmen, receiving treatment at the hospital and provided assistance. The Senior General and party later took a tour of the military station.
