Development Works: Kayah State accelerates regional development projects

The Kayah State Government is continuing to upgrade roads in Loikaw to improve urban infrastructure and make travel easier for the public.

On Friday, Chief Minister U Aunt Maw, accompanied by state government officials, inspected the operation of an asphalt concrete plant in Law Dhamma Ward.

Officials explained the production process and the storage of raw materials. The Chief Minister instructed to use quality materials, ensure workplace safety and prevent unpleasant odours from the production process.

The Chief Minister also inspected two road projects being carried out with the 2026–2027 State Budget, in Mingalar Ward and Daw Noe Ku Ward. He instructed officials to complete the projects on schedule, meet the required quality standards and ensure regular inspections at every stage of construction.
