











A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister Dr. Wah Wah Maung attended the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) in Xiamen of China. The event was attended by over 1,000 representatives from more than 120 countries, including officials and investment agencies.
Myanmar showcased a national booth featuring both public and private sectors, aiming to promote investment and business networking. During the trip, the Union Minister attended bilateral meetings with Fujian province officials and discussed trade and investment cooperation.
She also participated in the RCEP Economic and Trade Cooperation Roundtable, highlighting Myanmar’s agro-based industry potential and inclusive growth under RCEP. The Union Minister visted the Xiamen Cardiovascular Hospital and Xiamen University, signing an MOU for medical training collaboration. She also explored international booths, new technologies, and investment opportunities at CIFIT, and gave a media interview at the CIFIT Press Center.
The delegation also visited the ICT Software Park for digital and tech partnership exploration. Myanmar has been participating in CIFIT since the 23rd edition, and interest from international investors, especially from Jimei District, China, remains high.
