









Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin attended the opening ceremony for the 25th anniversary and Silver Jubilee milestone of the University of Computer Studies (Magway), as well as the 6th ICT Project Competition & Show, 2025, held on September 4, at the University of Computer Studies (Magway), where he delivered an opening address.
First, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and Region Minister for Social Affairs U Myo Myint cut the ribbon to officially open the 25th-anniversary milestone.
Next, the "6th ICT Project Competition & Show, 2025" was held at the university's convocation hall. Students performed a song about science and technology. Chief Minister U Tint Lwin then delivered an opening speech, in which he spoke at length about the university's history, the number of undergraduate, graduate and diploma students, and the benefits of holding the ICT Project Competition & Show.
Next, Dr. Myo Min Than, Pro-Rector of the UCS (Magway), provided an explanation of the 25th-anniversary event and the 6th ICT Project Competition. Chief Minister U Tint Lwin then presented certificates of honor to the organizations and alumni who supported the Silver Jubilee celebration.
The students then performed a dance to a song after which the Chief Minister presented them with a cash award. After the ceremony, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, region ministers, and guests toured the university to view and encourage the participants in the competition.
During the "6th ICT Project Competition & Show, 2025," the rules were announced, the competitions were held, judges scored the projects, and votes for the competing teams were tallied. Finally, honorary cards and various awards were presented to the winning teams.
