
The Ministry of Legal Affairs opened a Course No.1 on Diploma in Legal Advocacy (DLA) on Wednesday. Union Minister and Union Attorney-General Dr Thida Oo gave a remark, stressing that this is the very first diploma course, conducted by the Union Attorney General Office.
The Deputy-Director General and higher level are eligible to join the diploma course which will last for a year, eight months for lectures and four months for research papers. It will cover 160 days with 320 teaching hours. A total of 50 trainees are attending the diploma course which will be conducted from September 2025 to August 2026.
