Departure from Tianjin for Beijing: SSPC Chairman arrived at Beijing by special high-speed train

During his official working visit to the People’s Republic of China, the Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, together with accompanying delegation members, departed from Tianjin Railway Station at 10:30 a.m.

local time on Tuesday by special high-speed train bound for Beijing. At Tianjin Railway Station, the Acting President and delegation were seen off by a Deputy Minister–level official of the Tianjin Municipal Government along with responsible officials.

During the departure, local people of China waved national flags along the station concourse to bid farewell. The Myanmar high-level delegation led by the Acting President continued the journey aboard the special high-speed train, observing urban development and progress along the route.

Upon arrival at Beijing Southern Railway Station, the delegation was welcomed by a Deputy Minister–level official of the Beijing Municipal Government and responsible officials, while Chinese people lined the station concourse waving national flags to greet and welcome the delegation. Subsequently, the high-level Myanmar delegation led by the Acting President proceeded by motorcade to Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing.
