Enhancing Friendship and Cooperation: SSPC Chairman meets with Indian Prime Minister

Acting President and Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing met with Indian Prime Minister Mr Shri Narendra Modi in Tianjin on Sunday.

The meeting was also attended by SSPC Secretary, members, Union Ministers, Myanmar Ambassador to China, and senior military officers as well as officials from the Indian government.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to peace and stability in border areas, promoting in trade sector, enhancing friendship and cooperation between the two governments and armies were discussed. They also exchanged views on supporting Myanmar’s election by India and sending election observers as well as India’s support to become Myanmar as a SCO member and promoting of multi sectorial cooperation.
