Matriculation Exam : Application announcement for 2026 matric exam

The Department of Myanmar Examinations announced on the application process for 2026 matriculation exams.

It stated that the applications for the 2026 Matriculation Exam will be sold for 200 kyats per form and an additional 700 kyats for the exam fee stamp. These will be available from September 1 to 30, 2025 at the Department of Myanmar Examinations (Head Office) in Nay Pyi Taw and its Yangon Branch on Parami Street, Hlaing Township, Yangon.

Students must obtain application forms from their respective schools, while the external exam takers must purchase the forms at their respective Township Education Offices or directly at the Department of Myanmar Examinations. The application forms and ID cards come in two colors, green and pink based on subject combinations.

For students applying through schools including branch schools and private schools, school principals must affix the correct stamps to each form and submit all applications from their school to the Myanmar Board of Examinations between September 1 and 30, 2025.

The external exam takers must purchase the stamps and forms at their Township Education Offices, affix the stamps to the top-left corner of the application form, and submit the completed forms to the same office within the specified dates.

Applications submitted after September 30 will not be accepted, and students will not be allowed to take the exam. Candidates are not allowed to change their selected subject combination after submission. All applicants must carefully check the correctness of the subject codes and personally fill out their application forms.
