Closer Cooperation: Receiving the UNDCO delegation

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Wah Wah Maung, received a delegation led by Mr. David William Mclachlan-Karr, Regional Director for Asia and Pacific of the UN Development Coordination Office (UNDCO), at the Ministry on Thursday.

During the meeting, they exchanged views and discussed about the closer cooperation between UNCT and relevant ministries for efficient and effective implementation of UN agencies' work plans, consideration of government’s priorities on earthquake response plans to link with existing work plans and projects of UN agencies, and how to ensure more effective aid.
