New Facility: Opening ceremony of new court buildings

The opening ceremony for new buildings of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone Court and Hopong Township Court was held in Hopong of Shan State on Thursday.

The event was attended by Union Chief Justice U Tha Htay, member of the Central Advisory Board of the National Defence and Security Council U Khun San Lwin, Chief Minister U Aung Aung, and concerned officials. After formal opening of the ceremony, they toured the new buildings, and handed over official documents to the local judiciary.

The new two-storey RCC court building, built on Union Road in Myo Oo Kwat Thit Ward, was constructed by Zwe Mann Hone Co., Ltd. with a Union budget of over 2.17 billion kyat, starting in the 2020–2021 fiscal year.
