Youth Development: School Health Week and Library Development Campaign

On 28th August, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein visited Kwan Thae Basic Education High School in Chuang Sone Township.

There, the Chief Minister oversaw the school health week activities including general healthcare service provision and dental examination as well as preparations for nutrition provision.

At library development campaign of the school, the Chief Minister stressed on 5 kinds of strength development of the youth to ensure the sustainable development of the nation and encouraged the students to strive to become qualified leaders who can shoulder the nation’s responsibilities.

It was followed by a youth discussion which focused on drug abuse and prevention. Then, the Chief Minister provided cash awards to the participants and 35 million kyat cash assistance for the school drum and bugle corps.
