Education Sector: Meeting with education officers

Students have to sing National Anthem and salute the State Flag, Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein said during the meeting with Deputy Ministers and officials at the Ministry on 24th August.

The Union Minister stressed the need to strive for turning out more outstanding students in cooperation of principals and teachers. She also pointed out for amendment of the guidance for basic education sector as necessary. She emphasized the need to make strict scrutinizing process for private school applications in line with the specified standards.

She urged the Region/State education officers to supervise the students to follow the disciplines, ensuring drug free, wearing neat and tidy school uniform and having respect for the teachers. Next, the Deputy Ministers made discussion on nurturing the morality of students and non-formal education issues. After a round discussion by the attendees, the Union Minister coordinated the necessries.
