Scholarships Awarding Ceremony: Admission Letters presented for MOFCOM scholar awardees

Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Wah Wah Maung attended the Scholarships Awarding ceremony, organized by Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of the People’s Republic of China.

At the event, Chinese Ambassador Ms. Ma Jia said that MOFCOM has provided scholarships with the aim of nurturing the experts with advanced knowledge and skill for Myanmar through the cooperation between the two nations. In her speech, the Union Minister stated that MOFCOM scholarships program is benefiting for the human resource development of Myanmar.

She also emphasized the importance of staff’s capacity in improvement of public services and development of the State. She urged scholars to apply the knowledge gained in their practical work fields after completing the academic period. This was followed by presentation of Admission Letters to the staff who were selected for scholarship program. Later, a MOFCOM scholar alumna and a new scholar expressed words of thanks in return.
