ASEAN U-16 Girls’ Championship 2025 : Myanmar secures victory over Cambodia in Group B match

Myanmar’s U-16 Girls’ Team delivered an impressive performance in their Group B match of the ASEAN U-16 Girls’ Championship 2025, defeating Cambodia 4-1 at the Sriwedari Stadium in Surakarta, Indonesia on Saturday. Myanmar took control of the match early, with scoring goals in the 26th and 58th minutes.

Cambodia managed to pull one back in the 63rd minute, but Myanmar responded strongly, sealing the win in stoppage time 90+3 minutes with a fourth goal. The result marks an important step forward for Myanmar in the group stage, boosting their chances of advancing to the knockout rounds. Myanmar will next face Viet Nam on August 25th.
