Development Projects: Chief Minister tours in Dagon Seikkan Township

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein visited Dagon Seikkan Township on August 21st to inspect the development activities.

The Chief Minister toured a 450-acre paddy field operated by Mandalay Global Network Distribution Co., Ltd. in Nyaung Pin Village. Various rice strains such as Sin Thukha, Aung Naing Toe, Hmawby-3, 90-day rice, and an Indonesian variety were showcased.

They also observed modern farming methods using seeders and proper fertilizer use. The Chief Minister encouraged mechanized farming and pledged support for installment-based machinery purchases and affordable fertilizer supply. They then visited Makro Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in Industrial Zone-2, where tin fish cans and Bravo chili oil are produced. They inspected the factory operations and products, and urged for high product quality.
