Bodybuilding and Physique Sports: Myanmar team competing 19th SEA & 57th Asian BPSC

A total of 26 members from the Myanmar Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation, led by President and Deputy Mayor U Nyi Nyi, are currently competing in the 19th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship and the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship.

The events are being held in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 18 to August 25, and the Myanmar team includes 1 manager, 3 coaches, 2 referees, and 20 athletes. From August 18 to 21, the Myanmar team competed in the 19th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, where they won a total of 9 medals including 3 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze. As the individual achievements, Chan Myay Tun won a gold medal in the men's 70 kg bodybuilding competition.

Sai Thet Naung Oo won a gold medal in the men's physique competition (up to 175 cm). Myo Thu Ra Kyaw won a gold medal in the men's physique competition (above 175 cm). Su Mon Hlaing won a silver medal in the women's model physique competition (up to 160 cm).

Zuu Zuu Thant won a silver medal in the women's model physique competition (up to 170 cm). Maung Maung Myint won a bronze medal in the men's 70 kg bodybuilding competition. Than Zaw Htike won a bronze medal in the men's athletic physique competition (up to 167 cm).

Lin Lin Soe won a bronze medal in the women's model physique competition (up to 165 cm). The men's team also won 3rd place in the country rankings, while the women's team also won 3rd place. Chan Myay Tun was also crowned "Mr. Southeast Asia 2025" after competing against all the other gold medal winners from the tournament. The Myanmar Bodybuilding and Physique Sports team will continue to compete in the 57th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship.
