Women's Body Fitness Competition: Mon State CM attended and delivered opening speech

The opening ceremony of the 2025 Mon State Chief Minister's Cup (10 Townships) Women's Body Fitness (Aerobics) Competition was held at the State Sports Hall in Mawlamyaing in the morning on August 21st and Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein gave an opening speech.

Next, the athletes from the 10 competing township teams recited the sports pledge and left the field. The Chief Minister and officials watched a demonstration performance by the athletes from the 10 townships and cordially greeted them.

The Mon State-level ceremony for the 2025 Nutrition Development Weeks was held at the State Hall in Mawlamyaing and the Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein gave an opening speech.

A video titled "Let's Eat a Nutritious and Balanced Diet during Pregnancy" was shown to commemorate the weeks. The Chief Minister and officials then presented awards and prizes to the winners of the state-level Breastfeeding Model Mother Competition. They also gave micronutrient tablets and nutritional supplies to pregnant mothers, and administered high-potency Vitamin A supplements to children under five, along with gifts. Afterward, they toured the exhibition booths set up in the hall for the event.

Later, the Chief Minister and officials visited Basic Education High School No. 8 and observed the cooking and serving of nutritious food to the kindergarten students.
