Provision of Healthcare: Rakhine State CM encouraged providing service

On 21st August, pension withdrawing and healthcare service provisions were conducted at Khine Thazin Hall in Sittwe Township. Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and wife, patron of State Maternal and Child Welfare Association and many other concerned officials oversaw the pension withdrawal process and cordially greeted the retired service personnel.

They also overviewed the health care service provisions conducted by health care service personnel from Traditional Medicine Department, specialists, doctors and nurses from 500-bed General Hospital (Sittwe) and coordinated necessities.

Then, the Chief Minister, wife and officials provided rice and foodstuff to the retired personnel. Health care service provisions included pulse oximetry, electrocardiogram, diabetes testing and necessary supplements were also provided for the retired personnel.

To ensure the convenience of the retired personnel, pension can be withdrawn on week days starting from 7 am.  Under the guidance of Rakhine State Government, healthcare service provision and basic foodstuff provision are held monthly at Khine Thazin Hall in Sittwe.
