Approval for Registration: UEC approved 3 parties to register as political party

The Union Election Commission officially approved the New Generation Wunthanu Party which has established its headquarters at No. 74 (B), at corner between 6th and 7th Streets, U-Poke Taw Ward, Aung Myay Thazan Township, Mandalay Region with Announcement No. 58/2025, Peace and Development Party which has established its headquarters at No. (17/A), Zee Ohn Kone Street, Nant Thar Kone Ward, Insein Township, Yangon Region with Announcement No. 59/2025, Pa-O National Development Party which has established its headquarters at No. (691), Khemarama Nunery Sarthintaik Street, Mayanchaung Section, Bin Hlaing Ward, Thaton Township, Mon State with Announcement No. 60/2025, to register as political parties in accordance with Section 9 of the Political Parties Registration Law, as of August 20. The registration numbers of New Generation Wunthanu Party, Peace and Development Party and Pa-O National Development Party are 61, 62 and 63 respectively. The announcements were signed by the UEC Chairman U Than Soe.
