Health Cooperation : Meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador to Myanmar

Union Minister for Health Dr. Thet Khaing Win met with Egyptian Ambassador to Myanmar, Mrs. Aya Saad Mohamed Abdelkarim, at the Ministry on Friday.

During the meeting, both sides discussed signing an MoU for health cooperation, offering scholarships for human resource development, medical training and exchange programs, collaboration on liver and heart transplants, as well as the potential import and local production of Egyptian-made vaccines and medicines. They also talked about cooperation in hepatitis treatment programs.
