Support for Sports : Union Minister visits sports training camp

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, and Hotels and Tourism Jeng Phang Naw Taung, accompanied by concerned officials, inspected men and women’s Sepak Takraw and Hoop Takraw camp training in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday in preparation for the upcoming 33rd Southeast Asian Games.

He urged the athletes to train with greater determination to surpass previous records while presenting cash prizes. The Union Minister and party then oversaw repair works at the earthquake-damaged Wunna Theikdhi Stadium (A). The Union Minister stressed the workplace safety in relevant sector, disaster resilience and timely completion in line with established standards.
