Knowledge Sharing Session : Raising awareness on anti-corruption

Jointly organized by the Ministry of Construction and Anti-Corruption Commission, a knowledge sharing session was held at the Ministry of Construction on 8th August. Union Minister U Myo Thant, Chairman of Anti-Corruption Commission U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister and officials attended the discussion.

In his opening speech, the Union Minister expressed his appreciation for the anti-corruption commission for its efforts in conducting knowledge sharing sessions. Highlighting the unnecessary hindrances caused by corruption in nation’s administration, economy, social and culture sectors, the Union Minister urged relevant individual to actively participate in anti-corruption measures.

Then, the chairman of anti-corruption commission underscored the strenuous efforts of the commission in corruption eradication measures and raising awareness about corruption among public as a national level duty in collaboration with relevant organizations.

He called on departmental officials and staff to uphold the interest of the nation and its people in fulfilling their respective responsibilities along nation’s development process. The attendees made sector-wise discussions on corruption eradication and related laws.
